Serendipitous scenic detour. Beautiful & interesting, well interpreted history of marble quarrying & minerals. Limestone slot canyon with rushing water. Worth it!
This is a pay-to-park place. Limited hours as well. But the location is interesting and fun to explore. We didn't spend much time on our weekend road-trip, but it seemed that some folks were spending a long time on the site. We'll come back another day and explore more.
Fun park to visit while traveling Route 2. Wear good shoes. Have fun exploring. They have a picnic area, info center and trails.
This place is so fun. There are scavenger hunts from the rangers. Trails and other fun things.
