Wow what a glorious airport and community. We visited to participate in a compass rose painting project. You will rarely see a more picturesque airport surrounded by green mountains in a peaceful little canyon. Glider planes being towed, fun variety of general aviation planes, and even a private jet graced the runway. Shopping store a short walk away, and motels that will pick you up so close. You can't beat stopping here just for a chat or maybe one of their pancake breakfast events. Enjoy!
A great little gem of a local resource. Super affordable scenic flights (highly suggest doing one during foliage season) and where else can you watch a movie projected on a plane hanger in the summer?
